Tyson was born on May 2, 1991 at the Yorkton Union Hospital. Despite his many health challenges, Tyson was a very passive, content young man who didn’t do a lot of complaining.
At a young age, Tyson was involved in an early childhood intervention program. At 3 years old, he started school at P.J. Gillen School in Esterhazy and then moved on to the High School until 2013.
In January 2015, Tyson moved into the Mapleview Group Home in Esterhazy. There he had great roommates and the most wonderful caregivers you could ever ask for. They became his second family.
Tyson always enjoyed his visits with family & friends, but especially those with his nieces. Harper would have Tyson’s drum out playing him a tune and Nora would be up on his lap rubbing his head.
Tyson will always be remembered for his cool haircut and evil stink eye. Along with his soft hands and the love for a good head rub.
Tyson passed away peacefully at St. Anthony’s Hospital with his parents at his side.
Tyson was predeceased by his brother Kurt Bartok, grandfather Wilfred Bartok and cousin Erin Bartok.
Left to cherish Tyson’s memory are his mom & dad Duane and Cindy Bartok, Sister Courtney (Brenden) Nickell, nieces Harper & Nora, grandparents Gertrude Bartok, Felix & Bernice Juzyniec, and numerous aunts, uncles & cousins.
