Thomas Joseph Weselak was born December 11, 1930 to Frank and Mary (Martinovsky) Weselak. He is survived by his wife Marian (Zich), daughters Debbie Kreiser, Heather (Daryl) Godwin and Bonnie (Tim) Koshman, 9 grandchildren (Trina, Tricia, Jill, Brandi, Jesse, Jamie, Thomas, Callie, and Ben) 18 great grandchildren (Morgan, Mackenzie, Mason, Drew, Chayce, Nixon, Dakoda, Cohen, Adlee, Hudson, Liv, Madeline, Eloise, Jacob, Fredrick, Cayden, Lucas and Matias) and 2 great great grandchildren (Miya and Brooklyn), sister Olive (Kemp) and sisters in law Lillian Weselak and Enid Johnson/Zich.
He is predeceased by his mother and father, mother and father in-law, daughter Brenda, 4 brothers, 4 sisters, and numerous in-laws.
In 1954 Tommy married the love of his life Marian Zich. They had 4 daughters of whom he was very proud. Tom and Marian bought a general store in Esterhazy in 1956 which eventually became a clothing store and they named it Tommy’s Family Fashions. For 37 years they worked together at the store, which was a mainstay of the community. After retirement, Tommy and Marian toured Canada from coast to coast as well as abroad.
Tommy was a charter member of the Kinsmen Club, a member of the chamber of commerce various other community organizations. His greatest pleasure was golfing and the fellowship that went with it. He also enjoyed curling and bowling and loved his garden and yard.
He loved, and was extremely proud, of each and everyone of his family right down to the great-great grandchildren.
Tommy was a gentle humble man who will be sadly missed by family and many, many friends.
