Rose Anne Toth

           Rose was born on June 16, 1923, on the family farm south of Stockholm, the sixth of ten children, to Steve and Mary (Toth) Banga. After receiving her education at the R.C. Separate School in Stockholm, Rose helped her family on the farm until she married Andrew Toth on Feb 11, 1947. Andrew and Rose established a home a few miles south of Stockholm. Rose farmed along with Andrew and started to build their life  together.

In 1950, Rose and Andrew welcomed their daughter Gloria. Rose worked at the Esterhazy Centennial Care Home and in 1976 they moved off the farm and into town. Over these years they enjoyed several trips across Canada and the U.S. 

Rose was active in the CWL, enjoyed playing cards, gardening, knitting, decorating wedding cakes, making ceramics, and singing in the choir. Rose really enjoyed watching sports with Andrew. They loved watching Toronto Blue Jays baseball games, and every Saturday they looked forward to watching Stampede Wrestling and WWF.

Rose enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and was often found teaching them how to cook and bake.

Rose and Andrew were married for 54 years. When Andrew passed in 2001, Rose moved into the Manor in Stockholm. She enjoyed visiting her friends and attending Bingo. Rose spent several years at the Morris Lodge in Bangor and in the Esterhazy Centennial Care Home. She cherished the days that she could visit with her great-grandchildren and great-great grandchild.

The church and prayer were very important to Rose. She said the rosary daily and always told her family that they were in her prayers.

Rose leaves to celebrate her life; Her daughter Gloria and son-in-law Elliott Jennett;  Grandchildren, Nadine (Ray), Jason (Leslie), Paula (Dean);  Great-Grandchildren, Haley, Austin, Jessica, Regan and Dornan; Great-Great-Grandchild Brielle; Sister Kathy (Raymond) Shivak; Sisters-in-law Dorothy, Margaret, and Joyce (Banga) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Rose is predeceased by; Parents Steve and Mary (Toth) Banga. Husband; Andrew Toth; Sisters; Mary and Theresa; Brothers; Frank, John, Louis, Joe, Steve and infant brother Steven.  Brothers-in-laws; John Toth and Louis and Steve Toth.
