Ranald Carl Ramstead

Ranald Carl Ramstead was born September 15, 1946, to Gustaf and Irene Ramstead. He passed away September 25, 2018, at the age of 72 following a long courageous battle with cancer.

Ranald was born and raised in Broadview where he graduated from high school. He then worked various jobs including logging, nickel mining and for the Sask Wheat Pool. He met and married Theresa Piche in 1972. They moved back home to Broadview to work on the family farm with his dad and brother. They had two daughters, Sheri and Shannon, and later divorced. He continued farming, which he loved, until his passing.

Ranald was predeceased by his parents Gustaf and Irene, and his ex-wife Theresa.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters; Sheri (Lee)   Coleman and Shannon (Jason) Copeland; grandchildren Amanda (Travis) Hayhurst and Keagan Coleman, Kayla, Paige and Paytin Copeland; great-grandchildren Tessa, Asten and Ava Hayhurst and Caroline Copeland; brother Ellis (Mary) Ramstead and sister Marlene (Larry) Armbruster; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
