Phillip Otto Duchek

Phillip Otto Duchek was born in Esterhazy, SK. On October 25, 1955. He passed away suddenly at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre on May 26, 2026 at the age of 70.

Phillip was predeceased by his loving wife Linda (Bolen), both of his parents Hans and Linda Duchek and his in-laws Alec and Helen Bolen. He is survived by his sons Kyle and Chanse Duchek, his daughter Stephanie (Mark) Briggs and his grandchildren Phyllicia, JR, Luke, Ezra, Bronwynn, Astrid, and Orion. Also left to mourn are his brothers Ken (Jocelyn) Duchek, Kevin Duchek (Vicky Polvi), his sisters Kathryn (Randy) Wallack, Angela (Andy) Filipchuck, his many nieces, nephews, family, in-laws, friends and neighbors.

Phillip was raised in the Atwater area along side his siblings and many, many cousins in the area.

In high school, he met the love of his life, and they were married on May 17, 1975. Shortly after, he got a job at the K1 mine where he worked for over 40 years as a Millwright.

Over the years he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, summers camping at he lake, fishing, hunting, quadding, ski-dooing, building things and tinkering in his shop.
