Nancy Prazma of Yarbo passed away with her family by her side on October 3, 2021 at the St. Anthony’s hospital at the age of 60, ending years of fighting disease.
Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and loyal friend. She was born to Lillian and Ed Tribiger on December 12, 1960 in Gravelbourg. She attended school in Yarbo and Esterhazy. She met her husband Geordie in 1981 and they married in 1983. They built a family home together and had two children, Bentley and Breanne. Nancy was a devoted mother and homemaker for many years. She later worked as a store clerk, waitress and Mayor/Councilor of Yarbo. Nancy was often found at the coffee shop with her friends, children in tow, visiting into the late hours of the evening. This is where she was happy, with friends by her side.
Nancy loved her family fiercely. She gave as much as she could to the one’s she loved and was always there to listen when they needed advice. She enjoyed flowers and always made sure she had the best display in Yarbo each summer. Nancy recently became a grandmother to her granddaughter Jordie Ann. She was a devoted grandmother and loved that little girl. To say the sun set and rose on Jordie would be an understatement. Nancy loved snuggles with Jordie and loved watching her grow. Nancy was an amazing grandmother and was always spoiling her little one.
Nancy graciously went through life struggling with her health for many years. If you knew Nancy you knew she never complained and it never slowed her down. She still gave what she could to those she loved and was there for everyone anytime. Nancy was strong and courageous; she battled life’s strife’s with a grace that is enviable.
Nancy will be deeply missed by many family members, friends, son, daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter.
Nancy was predeceased by her husband Geordie, father and mother Ed and Lillian, sister Denise, brother Rick, and grandparents. Nancy leaves behind her son Bentley Prazma, daughter Breanne (Greg) Arnold, granddaughter Jordie Ann, sisters Wendy (Dennis) Blum and Cindy (Darwin) Park, and brother Larry (Val) Tribiger. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
A heartfelt thank you to all of Nancy’s friends and family members who visited her regularly when she could no longer leave her home. Thank you for supporting her and loving her when she needed it most. Thank you to all the nurses at St. Anthony’s Hospital who treated Nancy through the years and recently supported her through her journey to end of life. Nancy always appreciated the kindness from the nurses and always felt comforted by them when her family could not be there.
