Lillian Timms of the Churchbridge, Saskatchewan area passed away after a brief illness at home on her farm at the age of 65 years.
Lillian Timms (neé Wright) was born in Winnipegosis and grew up in the Winnipegosis and Dauphin areas of Manitoba. While in her late thirty’s, she moved to Winnipeg, where she met and married Paul Timms. She worked in various office management positions in the Winnipeg area while studying to improve herself; finally gaining accreditation as an accountant. When Paul retired from CN, he and Lillian moved to a farm in the Churchbridge area, three miles from the one owned by her brother Michael (Suzanne). There she raised a small menagerie of ducks, chickens, sheep and goats. She also set up an accounting office in Churchbridge where she became active in the community. She once told Suzanne that this was the happiest time of her life.
She was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Gwen Wright of Dauphin MB and will be sorely missed by her husband Paul, her two sons, Stephen (Margaret) Wellborn of Sifton MB and Tim (Yvonne) Wellborn of Edmonton AB, her four brothers Tom of Analoa MB, John (Ruth) of The Pas MB, Dave (Donna) of Nobleton ON, and Michael (Suzanne) of Churchbridge along with her four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
