Kenneth Milton Johnston passed away peacefully on September 4, 2021, at the Esterhazy Centennial Special Care home with family by his side.
Ken was born on March 25, 1932, to Kenneth and Vivian Johnston in Bengough, Saskatchewan. He met the love of his life Verna Eileen Johnston, and they were married on September 10, 1960. Together they had two children, Zane, born April 11, 1962, and Elaine born July 11, 1964. Ken worked at the mine in Esterhazy for nine years. From there he moved onto farming where he stayed until retirement. He moved into Esterhazy in 2007 where he enjoyed the rest of his life.
Ken will be remembered by his son Zane (Brenda) Johnston, daughter Elaine (Ron) Abdai; his grandchildren, Murray (Chelsea), Carlene (Aaron), Natasha (Kevin), Nicole (Patrick), and Thomas (Taylor); his great grandchildren Skyler, Keely, Kaycen, Praxley, Tatianna, Finn, Van, Zack, Austin and Alysha; his brothers Wray, Jim (Carol) and Edwin (Mary); as well as many nieces and nephews.
