Ken Anderson of Atwater, Saskatchewan passed away Friday, January 17, 2020 at home on the farm at the age of 66 years.
Ken was born in 1953 at Esterhazy Hospital. He was raised on the farm by Atwater by his dad Murrell and his mom Joyce, along with sister Sharon and brother Delbert. He met his wife Linda in Saskatoon while going to school to be a heavy-duty mechanic. They had twin daughters, Tracy and Trina, son Kevin and daughter Amanda. Ken worked at the Allan Potash Mine for 13 years before moving back to the farm in 1987. There they raised their family and he took a job at the K2 mine for extra money. Here they watched their children grow up and have children of their own. After losing Linda in 2013 Dad was alone for several years before meeting and eventually marrying his second wife Brenda and adding to his family with her daughter Daphne. They got to enjoy several years together before he passed away at home, surrounded by his family.
He was predeceased by his wife Linda, his father Murrell, sister Sharon and brother-in-law Gordon.
Surviving are his second wife Brenda; son Kevin and his wife Kristin and their children Kane, Lily and Rachel; daughter Tracy and her husband James and their son Kaysen; daughter Trina and her partner Rick and her sons Jayden and Asher; daughter Amanda and her partner Kevin and their daughters Mackenzie and Jordyn; and step-daughter Daphne. Also surviving is his mother Joyce and brother Delbert.
