Joyce Anderson, 92 years of age, passed away Monday August 10, 2020 in Esterhazy, SK. She was born March 12, 1928 on the family farm to parents William and Joanne (Bradford) Louttit. Joyce married Murrell Anderson November 26, 1945 and had three children, Sharon, Kenneth and Delbert. Murrell and Joyce enjoyed married life together for 43 years. Murrell and Joyce farmed the Anderson homestead in the Atwater area until they retired in 1987 and built a house in Atwater. After Murrell passed away in 1988, Joyce continued living in Atwater until 2007 at which time she moved to Esterhazy with her beloved Penny, with her final home being the Esterhazy Centennial Special Care Home. Along with farming, both Murrell and Joyce drove the school bus for all the Atwater and surrounding families for many years. After Murrell passed away, Joyce began babysitting for Mike and Janice Herperger, enjoying watching her second family grow up. Joyce was first and foremost a family person. Her home was always open to friends and family from near and afar. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, and travelling. Murrell and Joyce loved to travel enjoying places such as Arizona, Hawaii and Alaska.
Joyce is predeceased by her parents William and Joanne Louttit, husband Murrell, daughter and son in law Sharon and Gordon Gelowitz, son and daughter in law Ken and Linda Anderson, sister and brother in law Betty and Stan Donda, sister and brother in law Ada and Walter Martin, granddaughter Amanda Anderson and great grandson Carter Laliberte. Left to cherish her memory are son Delbert Anderson, grandchildren Lorne (Rebecca), Lorna (Darcy), Lorie (Terry), Tracy (James), Trina, Kevin (Kristin), Kevin, Cheryle (Greg), Shanon (Darwin), Michael (Holly) and Lisa. Great grandchildren Emily, Anna, Alundra, Logan, Jake, Lesia, Kaysen, Jayden, Asher, Kane, Lily, Rachel, McKenzie, Jordyn, Levi, Alexa, Amelia, Chantelle, Trinity, Kyran, Brooklyn, Jessica, Justin, Jackson, Jennifer, Venessa and Valentine. One great great grandson, Hunter. Daughters in law Brenda Duchek and Anita Beauvais, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless life long friends.
