Glenda Kathleen Kaczmar

Glenda Kathleen Kaczmar of Esterhazy, Saskatchewan passed away March 26, 2025 at Saint Anthony’s Hospital in Esterhazy at the age of 77.

Glenda Kathleen Elder was born on August 9, 1947 in the Kipling, Saskatchewan area, to Eva and James Herbert Elder.  She met George Kaczmar in 1963 in Kipling, where they were both born and raised.  George moved to Esterhazy, Saskatchewan in 1964 for work and Glenda soon followed in 1966.  They were married that same year, on May 14, 1966.  They started their family in January of 1967 and had five children.  They resided in Esterhazy for the remainder of their lives. 

Glenda was a stay at home wife and mother and matriarch of the family.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who was loved, respected and cherished by everyone who knew her.

George and Glenda were often seen at the rink and golf course in Esterhazy and loved going to the gym together most mornings.  Glenda was George’s best friend and soulmate and will be loved and remembered forever.  She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.

Glenda was predeceased by her father, James Herbert, her mother, Mildred Eva and her sister Phyllis.

She is survived by her husband George, sons Michael and Sean (Kristine); three daughters, Kerri (Keith), Kathleen (Adrien) and Deanna (Scott – who is deceased); ten grandchildren, six great- grandchildren; brothers James Murray (Phyllis), Herbert (Elaine) and Kenneth (Shirley).

A funeral service will be held at a later date.
