It is with great sadness that the family of Glen Edward Mann announce his sudden passing.
Glen was born on May 4, 1960, to Victor and Dianna Mann in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan. In his younger years, the family moved often calling home to Pense, Allan, Lanigan and Merritt, BC. In 1972, the family returned home to the farm in Esterhazy where Glen attended PJ Gillan School and Esterhazy Central High School. After graduating in 1978 he went on to earn a Radio and Television Servicing certificate from Saskatchewan Technical Institute.
Glen built a proud and dedicated career with SaskTel starting in 1980 as an Apprentice Lineman and retiring in 2015 as a Technical Assistant in IT Management. After much deliberation and thorough research, he made his way back to BC this time settling in Chilliwack, where the weather was perfectly suited to two of his greatest passions: riding his motorcycle and hitting the golf course.
Glen will be deeply missed by all those who loved him. He is predeceased by his parents, Victor and Dianna, his sister Gail, and his brother-in-law Eric Krueger. He is survived by his sister Yvonne Krueger, his niece Amanda (Adam) Guldiman, his nephew Michael Krueger, his great-nieces Emily, Mackenzie, and Addysen, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Glen lived life on his own terms, from the Saskatchewan prairies to the green valleys of BC, and leaves behind a legacy of hard work, quiet determination, and a love of the open road – and for the easy laughter, good times and raised glasses shared with those lucky enough to know him.
