Gerard Ryan of Tantallon, Saskatchewan passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Regina General Hospital at the age of 71 years.
Gerard was born in Nova Scotia and his dream was always to move west and be a cowboy/farmer. Gerard married the love of his life Janet (Rogers), then were blessed with three children, Kelly Lynn, Bradley Gerard and Paula Jean.
Gerard worked at the PCS mine in Rocanville for 32 years and he retired in 2006. After that he started farming and had his six Black Angus cows and built his herd to 25 cows. Gerard loved to hay, loved his home and his six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Gerard was predeceased by his grandson Tama Johnathon Ryan, his parents Leonard and Margaret Ryan, his sister Thresa Ann Ourison, his brothers Martin and Leonard Ryan.
Gerard is survived by his wife Janet Ryan, son Bradley Ryan and daughters Kelly Csada and Paula Ryan, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother Micheal (Jacquie) Ryan and sister Elizabeth Forcey.
