Ted was born on April 30, 1931 on the family farm near Yarbo, Saskatchewan. In 1950, he graduated from the School of Agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan. Ted worked construction at the newly established potash mine for a couple of years before deciding to return to farming full time.
On January 18, 1964, he married Myrna Olson from Spy Hill. They raised three sons: Glen, Curtis, and Dale. Ted continued to farm well into his later years until his health began to fail.
Ted was passionate about farming and also enjoyed curling, snowmobiling, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Robert (Sandy) and Alvira Fraser. He is survived by his loving wife, Myrna Fraser; three sons, Glen (Lidia), Curtis (Laurie), and Dale (Leanne); grandchildren Alexandra Blum (Brendon), Matthew Fraser (Jenna), Brayden Fraser, Todd Fraser, and Jorja Fraser; step-grandchild Bryan Dias; and three great-grandchildren, Ayla and Saige Blum and Hazel Fraser.
