Deborah Anne Leach (Kulovany Carey)

Deb was born on February 12, 1966 in Virden, Manitoba. She was the eldest child of three, to Bill and Alma Leach. 

Deb was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer one year ago almost to the day of her passing. She defied the odds on life expectancy after her diagnosis, and her courage and strength will not be forgotten. 

Left to mourn are her children; Ashley, Jenna (Jeremy) and their children Frankie and Clifford, and Kamrin (Payton) and their children Lillian and Lucy. Her husband Mike Carey and his children Dana (Tara) and their children Jayce and Felix and Amanda (Jeff) and their children Bailey, Taryn and Avery. Her parents Bill and Alma. Her siblings Rick and his children, and Terry and her children. As well as many cousins, nieces and nephews, Aunts, Uncles and close friends.  

She’ll be remembered for her incredible strength and wisdom, her heart of gold, her patience, her unconditional love for her children and Grandchildren, her sense of humor, her generosity, and her sensitive nature. 

She was the cool Mom, Grandma, Aunty, cousin. Always with the best toys and imagination, a shoulder to cry on, a big hug, a meal prepared. Everyone was welcome at her table.

She loved rock n roll, karaoke, dancing, animals, being in nature, creating, and visits with those she cared for. 

She was the keeper of our families history, and was proud of her background and where she came from. 

Her joy was apparent when she was with her Grandchildren. They brought out the best in her. 

She was one of a kind, and she will be dearly missed. 

Till we meet again, Mom.
