Clifford Joseph Minarik passed away peacefully on February 13th, 2022, at the Esterhazy Centennial Care Home.
Cliff was born on September 24th ,1932 to Frank and Mary (Hudacek) Minarik in the Qu’Appelle Valley. He is one of four children including his brother Frank, sister Mildred and brother Leonard. He attended a country school with his siblings and worked and lived in and around Esterhazy his whole life.
Cliff was a truck driver for most of his life working various jobs and he later worked for Crush Rite Concrete until his retirement. He also worked as a farm hand as a young man and tended bar at both the Central Hotel and the Royal Canadian Legion where he was a member.
He was a weekend Cowboy. He enjoyed riding horses and racing chuckwagons with his brother Frank. Cliff spent time hunting and fishing in the Valley and was active playing cards with his friends.
Cliff was married to Evelyn Kulcsar and has two sons, Mark (Debbie) and Terry (Debbie), three grandchildren, Michaela, Markus and Ethan, and was an uncle to many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind good friend Pat Larocque Blondeau who he enjoyed spending time with.
Cliff will be missed by his family and friends.
Donations can be made in Cliff’s name to the Centennial Care Home in honor of all the staff who took care of him at the twilight of his life.
