Caroline Paulette Lintick

Caroline Paulette Lintick’s journey with us ended on December 4, 2022.  With family by her side, she passed away peacefully at the St. Anthony’s Hospital, Esterhazy, at the age of 82.

Paulette will be lovingly remembered by her husband Larry, daughters Dawn (Ken), Sherri (Jeff), Kim (Chris), grandchildren Christopher (Danielle), Ryan (Alysa), Greg (Denise), and Jennifer.

Paulette was born to Jessie and Paul Szmon and raised in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba.  Growing up in a family with fourteen siblings created many wonderful memories and some great stories.

On July 10, 1958, Paulette and Larry were married. They briefly lived in Gillam and Lynn Lake, Manitoba before making Esterhazy their permanent home while raising their family of three girls.  Life was filled with many family memories of activities, holidays and celebrations that will be treasured forever.  Then Paulette and Larry were blessed with grandchildren and the twinkle in their eyes shone brightly.

Paulette worked at Sears for many years and enjoyed all the people she met.  Volunteering was also a fulfilling part of her life.  She contributed to a number of organizations during her working and retirement years.  The United Church, CanSurmount, Pastoral Care, Care Home Auxiliary and Blankets of Canada are some of the organizations she was passionate about.

When Paulette had quiet time, you would find her in her favorite chair with her embroidery, crocheting, reading, and always a puzzle on the go.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
