Brenda was a beautiful, happy little girl who loved helping her dad with chores and playing outside with her sister and brothers.
When she got older, she liked to help mom, planting flowers and gardens. When mom and dad were busy with harvest, she took over the cooking. She became a great cook. It was only a couple of weeks ago that my mother was showing me how to make wraps (still can’t make them right).
Brenda was a member of the Elfros 4-H Club and loved grooming and showing calves.
Her education was completed at Wishart and Foam Lake. After finishing high school, she moved to Saskatoon and started her career working in nursing homes. She also spent time with her career in Regina, and finally moved to Yorkton where she continued in the same field.
Two years ago, Brenda was diagnosed with breast cancer and fought long and hard. She succumbed to liver cancer on August 8, 2024.
She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
