Archie Stanley Urzada

Archie was born in the Whitewood area to Raphel and Annie Urzada (nee Rathay). He spent many years helping his dad on the farm. In 1978 he married Betty Duchesne, and they farmed for many years north of Whitewood. He spent hours running his 1010 John Deere cat, farming and raising around 100 head of cattle.

In his spare time his beloved dog Shep was always with him. In later years his health began to fail and he had to sell his cattle. He then moved to an acreage south of Esterhazy, Saskatchewan. When his diabetes could no longer be controlled he moved into the Centennial Special Care Home in Esterhazy.

He passed away peacefully on Monday, January 16, 2023. He was predeceased by his parents Raphel and Annie Urzada; his sister Elsie Churi of Kipling, Saskatchewan and his wife Betty. He leaves to mourn his sister Ruby Duke of Whitewood; brother Wilfred of Broadview; many nieces and nephews and his long time care giver Marlene Tucker and her family.
