On June 8, 2019 Willard passed away peacefully in his sleep at home in the Daisy Hill Manor.
Willard was born August 10, 1940 in the Barra District near Atwater to Anthony and Helen Sikora. He attended Barra school.
When finished his schooling, he worked at the locker plant in Esterhazy, helped his dad on the farm and helped out neighbours as well. Willard went on to the potash mines to start a career when the mines first came to Esterhazy. He worked at the mine and farmed for over 30 years. He also served as a councillor with the RM of Fertile Belt for a period of time.
Willard loved to dance whenever he could. He enjoyed going to hockey games, rodeos, chuckwagon and chariot races, and concerts. Willard was an active member of the church and the Knights of Columbus for 36 years and an Honourary 3rd and 4th Degree member.
Willard was predeceased by his parents Anthony and Helen, his brother Tony, sister Louise, and grandson Dillon. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Marjorie, children Darren (Rhonda), Warren (Joan), Parry (Crystal), Treena (Dion), Collin (Sherry), and stepsons Wayne (Kim) and Neil (Arlene), 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
