With immense sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Treasa Minarik at the age of 88. She bravely fought her cancer for almost 3 years. Her strong belief in her faith helped her accept the cancer. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved flowers, gardening and hummingbirds. Treasa was predeceased by her husband Frank, parents Peter and Ethel Trohak, her in-laws, Frank Sr. and Mary Minarik. Her brothers, Peter, Ernest, Willard and Adolf and sister, Yolanda Hegedus, brothers-in-law, Gaza Hegudus, Charlie Maga and Albert Moore, sister-in-law, Adeline Minarik. She leaves behind her son, Dale (Brenda), daughter Laurie (Gord Webster) two grandchildren, Leah (Aaron Aldous), Scott Webster (Crystal Hadikin), three Great Grandchildren, Sofi, Miia Aldous and Colton Webster. Two special nephews, Mark and Terry Minarik. Sister, Rose Maga, brothers-in-laws, Cliff and Leonard Minarik, sisters-in-law, Mildred Moore. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Heartfelt thanks to all the staff at the Esterhazy Centennial Care Home who provided Treasa with exceptional and loving care during the past two years of her life. Their kindness and love brought Treasa much happiness and gratitude from her family. Deep thanks also to Dr. M. Khan and the Allan Blair Clinic giving Treasa kindness and great care during her battle with cancer.
