Matthew Swain Obituary

Matthew Virgil Harley Swain was born on December 19, 1978 in Yorkton, Saskatchewan to Harley and Elizabeth Swain. He was the youngest of five children.

Matthew attended Kindergarten to Grade 6 at PJ Gillen School in Esterhazy and went on to Esterhazy High School where he completed his Grade 9. He received his Grade 12 at Parkland Regional College in 2005.

Matthew was a very smart kid growing up, he had an almost photogenic memory. He loved reading Pierce  Anthony novels, was into Anime, was a gamer, liked writing poetry and short stories and loved anything to do with the planets, solar system and constellations. He was always educating  himself with things that interested him. He was an artist, he loved drawing and was very talented with bead work. His past time included fishing and spending time drawing, coloring and playing with the love of his life, his baby girl Dillynn.

Matthew was a welder by trade. He could do anything he put his mind to and could fix pretty much any electronics you gave him.

On November 27th, 2015 the love of his life was born, Dillynn Rose Marie Tanner-Swain. That was the proudest moment of his life.

Matthew was so proud when he became an Uncle for the first time and was a proud uncle to 6 nieces Cynthia (Ryan), Kassinna, Christa (Todd), Charity (Johnny), Jenny (Colin) & Ray-Leen (Brett) and 6 nephews Damien, Mik, Tyler (Irene) Tristan, Dalton and Walker.
