Mary Julianna Toth passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the Esterhazy Centennial Special Care Home at the age of 96 years.  Mary was born in the Kaposvar   district to Magdeline Babyak and John Rakai.

She received her education at St. Estevan School.  After grade 8 she stayed home to help on the farm.  On June 27, 1944 she married Charles Anthony Toth.  The were blessed with four children: Audrey (Victor) Lippai, Gregory Toth, Brenda Duchek Anderson (Ken) and Donalda (Ken) Ecklund.

She helped Charles with the farm, milking many cows and selling cream.  She went to work at St. Anthony’s Hospital, and later for Daryle Eggen at the Tomboy.  She worked there until she retired.  After she retired, mom and Donalda ran Charlies Angels restaurant in    Stockholm.

Mary loved to bake and was famous for her Hungarian Torta and    Hungarian Walnut Cakes.  Her other hobbies included quilting, knitting, sewing, reading, traveling and playing cards with friends.  She was very actively involved in the church and was a 40-year member with the CWL.

Later when their health failed, Charles and Mary sold the acreage and moved to Esterhazy.  After Charles passed in 1999 Mary moved to Sumner Place where she resided until her health failed.  She moved into Morris Lodge in Bangor and later moved to the Esterhazy Centennial Special Care Home.

Mary was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Charles; her son Gregory; grandsons Jason and Benjamin; and son-in-law Dwight; her sisters Irene Toth, Thersa Takacs, Julia Trohak and Sister Ethel Rakai.
