Mary Nagy passed away peacefully on July 31, 2019 at Lakeside Manor.
She was born on March 25, 1929 to John and Francis (Thiele) Lipinski, and grew up in the Grayson area.
On July 8, 1950 she married Joe Nagy and they farmed near Dubuc, SK. She was a homemaker with a strong work ethic and was active in her community and church, serving in various groups.
Mary enjoyed the outdoors, and loved gardening. She tended a large yard and garden with beautiful flowers, vegetables and strawberries, and gave much of it to family and friends. She did handwork and crafts, as well as baking – some favorites were buns, scuffles, apple pies and doughnuts. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and would play cards and games.
She was predeceased by her husband Joe, her parents, brothers Dan, Herbert and Wilfred, and sister Johana.
She is remembered by her son Joe (Linda) Nagy, his children Christa, Candace (Don), Cathryn (Rob); daughter Cheryl (Leon) Exner, their sons, Ryan, and Erik (Sabrina); and son Curtis (Celina) Nagy, their children Ardessa and Cole, numerous great grandchildren; her sister Katie Reiger; brother John (Genny) Lipinski; and many nieces and nephews.
